Medical Director, Naveed Riaz, MD

Naveed Riaz, MD, is an aesthetic medicine specialist with more than 20 years of experience. At Brilliant Beauty in San Pedro, California, Dr. Riaz delivers exceptional results to men and women hoping to rejuvenate their appearance, slim their physique, and improve their mental and physical well-being.

Dr. Riaz completed his medical education at Bahauddin Zakariya University in Multan, Pakistan. He moved to California to practice family medicine, finishing his residency at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. After his training ended, he specialized in urgent care. 

After more than two decades practicing medicine, Dr. Riaz decided to pursue his interest in aesthetics. He returned to school for additional training to launch his medical aesthetics practice.

Passionate about helping his patients look and feel their best, Dr. Riaz enjoys providing individualized care. He creates personalized treatment plans for every patient, whether they want to smooth fine lines and wrinkles with Botox® and Juvéderm® fillers or rejuvenate the tone and texture of their skin with laser treatments.

In his spare time, Dr. Riaz focuses on his children. His eldest son, Zain, is currently attending college, where he enjoys playing basketball and studying Asian arts. His daughter, Inaya will be followng in her dads footsteps persuing medicine. She also follows his love of the arts, gravitating toward singing and dancing while studying global medicine and medical anthropology. Armon, the youngest of the three, has a passion for surfing and drama, landing him a pair of spots on the high school surf team and drama club. He never misses his sunday lunch with dad.

Anisah Riaz, BSN, RN, is a longtime nurse with more than 10 years of professional experience. At Brilliant Beauty in San Pedro, California, Anisah uses her passion for aesthetic medicine to bring joy to her patients. 

Anisah’s motto, “feel good inside and out,” inspired her to introduce Brilliant Beauty to services beyond laser skin care, like IV therapy. She strives to connect with her patients to ensure their treatments meet each person’s unique needs and goals. From IV hydration and laser skin rejuvenation to Botox® and Juvéderm® fillers, Anisah tailors care to every patient.

Above all else, Anisah believes in providing holistic care. Her goal is to heal the mind, body, and spirit for a whole-body experience. She truly enjoys helping her patients look and feel like the best versions of themselves.

When Anisah isn’t working, she loves spending time near the ocean, which patients can see from Brilliant Beauty’s calming interior. She lives by her personal motto: “be silly, be honest, be kind.”
